Acting Workshop for Adults

Learn to harness the power of “Yes, And” as you create collaborative scenes with your fellow improvisers! Perfect for professionals looking for a challenge or anyone who loves to laugh, our Improv for Adults workshop will encourage you to stretch your creativity and learn valuable cooperation and communication skills in a fun, hilarious environment. The class will focus on long-form improvisation formats and techniques.
Time: 6:30–8 p.m.
Dates: Wednesdays, March 25–May 20, 2020
Tuition: $285 (A $3 processing fee is adding to all transactions)
Miranda Newman is a recent graduate of George Mason University, receiving a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance with a minor in dance appreciation. She has been a teaching artist with AFYP for a year and a half, teaching after school classes to elementary age students and various corporate improv workshops in conjunction with ArtPropel. Her most recent performances were as Izzie/Isabella in “I Hate Art” and Sylvia in “Modern Art” with The Class Act Players.
