DESCRIPTION:Join the Orff Schulwerk program at the George Mason University’s Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music summer institute\, hosted by the Mason Community Arts Academy. Celebrating over 40 years of excellence\, we have developed a comprehensive and authentic curriculum taught by experienced\, enthused\, and enjoyable Orff specialists. \nLevels I–III are offered\, and certification is awarded upon successful completion of Level III. You can sign up for one course per summer. \nRegistration Deadline: June 14 at 11:59 p.m.

SUMMARY:[Registration Deadline] Kodály Levels
DESCRIPTION:Change the way you think about teaching music forever!  Participate in training sessions in musicianship\, pedagogy\, Kodály materials\, and choral music-making at the Kodály Certification Program at George Mason University in Fairfax\, Virginia. George Mason offers all three levels\, leading to a Certificate in Kodály Music Education upon successful completion of Level III\, a powerful professional development opportunity and career enhancement. One level may be completed each summer. The courses are also eligible for Teacher Recertification Points in many school systems (please check with your district for verification). \nRegistration Deadline: June 14\, 2026
