No prior chamber music experience is required. Open to Academy and non-Academy students. \nAfter completing the program registration\, please upload a short playing video using the link below. This will aid our faculty in placing students into chamber groups that are a good fit for their age\, instrument\, and ability level. \nChamber groups may be standard chamber arrangements (like a string quartet) but may also have mixed instrumentation to allow for the most collaboration between students. Please submit your video no later than Sunday\, February 8\, 2026.

SUMMARY:[Application Deadline] Musical Theater Cabaret
DESCRIPTION:Advanced teen performers will join vocal instructor Emi Eiting\, along with acting coaches and choreographers from Acting for Young People\, for a week of musical theater skill-building! Students will quickly learn new repertoire focusing on vocal technique\, musicality\, interpretation and movement as they celebrate the tradition of Broadway and popular music. Students will also be taught how to make quality repertoire selections for themselves\, and will be provided a list of repertoire from which to begin building their own musical theatre vocal library. The week will culminate in an energetic cabaret performance supported by professional musicians and technicians. \nAn application and successful video audition are required to participate in this program. Application Deadline is May 24. Auditions will be considered on a rolling basis.

An active performer-scholar and an internationally recognized master teacher\, Monson has given lecture-recitals\, solo piano recitals\, and piano master classes throughout the United States\, Europe\, Asia\, Latin America\, and Australia.

This concert is free and open to the public! \nA native of Kanagawa\, Japan\, pianist Yukiko Fujimura is an active performer and dedicated educator. She appears regularly as a soloist and collaborative artist\, with career highlights including a concerto performance at Minsk’s Great Philharmonic Hall. \nKnown for her student-centered teaching approach\, Fujimura is passionate about helping students develop confidence\, creativity\, and expressive playing. She has presented workshops on piano pedagogy across the United States and internationally.

Masterclasses are open to the public and families are invited to attend at 2 p.m. each day. \nDr. Ina Radeva Mirtcheva is a May 2014 graduate of George Mason University with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance. She has been a piano student of Dr. Anna Balakerskia for many years. \nShe has performed in numerous recitals as a soloist and with chamber music ensembles at venues including The Kennedy Center\, the Smithsonian Institution\, Werner Recital Hall\, Prosels Castle\, and The Lyceum. She has also performed internationally in Italy\, Holland\, Poland\, Bulgaria\, and Canada.
