DESCRIPTION:Advanced teen performers will join vocal instructor Emi Eiting\, along with acting coaches and choreographers from Acting for Young People\, for a week of musical theater skill-building! Students will quickly learn new repertoire focusing on vocal technique\, musicality\, interpretation and movement as they celebrate the tradition of Broadway and popular music. \nAges: 13–18 \nDates: July 14–18\, 2025\n9 a.m.–4 p.m. \nTuition: $505 \nLocation: George Mason University Fairfax Campus\, Harris Theatre \nAn application and successful video audition are required to participate in this program. The application deadline is Sunday\, May 11 at 11:59 p.m. Auditions will be considered on a rolling basis. All admission decisions will be sent by May 26.

SUMMARY:Mason Summer Band Camp: Residential add-on Registration Deadline
DESCRIPTION:The Mason Summer Band Camp is a comprehensive musical experience for students enrolled in music programs or private lessons in grades 6–12 with at least two years of playing experience. Students will enjoy the community of two large ensembles\, a Jr. High and Sr. High Band\, instrument specific break out sessions\, a myriad of engaging masterclasses\, recitals\, and appropriate social events. DESCRIPTION:The Mason Summer Piano Academy presents the Monson-Balakerskaia Piano Duo in support of student scholarships. \n\nJoin us for a very special program with Dr. Linda Apple Monson\, esteemed director of the Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music\, and longtime Dewberry School of Music faculty member Dr. Anna Balakerskaia on May 30 at 7:30 p.m. These renowned pianists are donating their time and incredible talent for this benefit performance\, raising funds for scholarships for the Mason Summer Piano Academy. This is a rare opportunity\, for all to enjoy!\n\nAll donations received during this event will go directly to support scholarships for students attending these programs with a financial need. The suggested donation is $20 per audience viewer\, but any amount will be gratefully received.
