Christopher Jenkins

Biography:

Christopher Jenkins is a performer and teacher in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He has performed both nationally and internationally, including performances in Argentina and Spain. He has also performed for and studied with great artists such as Pepe Romero, Martha Masters, Gilbert Biberian, Gallardo Del Rey, and Joaquin Clerch.  

Mr. Jenkins has studied in a series of classes and instruction by renowned guitarist and composer Roland Dyens.  He also studied in Granada, Spain at the Interpretation of Spanish Song Festival and appeared in concert at El Ladron de Agua Hotel, also in Granada. In addition to solo performances, he frequently performs with Brett Floyd as The Coda Duo.

Mr. Jenkins completed his Master’s Degree in Music at the University of South Carolina School of Music where he studied with Christopher Berg.  He also received his Bachelor’s Degree from the George Mason University School of Music where he studied with Larry Snitzler.
