Lauren Reamy

Jr. Instructor - Voice

Biography:

A native of Northern Virginia, Lauren Reamy is excited to share the joys of singing with students of all ages. She believes anyone is capable of singing and loves working with students to develop a solid technical basis while pursuing their individual vocal interests.

Ms. Reamy has performed with the Mason Opera as Seconda Sorella Cercatrice in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Marchande de plaisirs in Offenbach’s Mesdames de la Halle, and as a chorus member and featured soloist in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. She has also participated in Mason Opera’s Scenes Program in Fall 2018 and is a member of the University Singers Choral Ensemble where she has performed both large choral works and chamber pieces. In February 2018 and 2020, Lauren earned a rating of Honors at the National Association of Teachers of Singing auditions.

Ms. Reamy is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance at George Mason University. She studies voice privately with Dr. Elissa Alvarez.
