Instructor - French Horn
Robert Esposito is an active horn teacher and freelance musician in the Virginia and Washington, D.C. area. He recently received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from George Mason University in Fall 2019.
As a student at Mason, Mr. Esposito was the principal horn of the Mason Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Opera Orchestra from 2016-2019. He was the winner of the GMU Wind Symphony Concerto Competition in 2019 and has founded and appeared in many George Mason chamber ensembles such as PCJ Brass, Mason Wind Quintet, and the George Mason Brass Ensemble. Mr. Esposito was the recipient of the George Mason University’s Friends of Music Scholarship for multiple years. He also has attended the Sewanee Summer Music Festival as an Orchestral Fellow and was a recipient of a full scholarship.
Mr. Esposito plays with The New Orchestra of Washington Apprentice Program as assistant principal and fourth horn. He has performed in a variety of masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Julie Landsman, Jennifer Montone, and Jason Allison. As a recent graduate, Mr. Esposito is currently considering multiple options to pursue a masters’s degree in horn performance.
