The Washington Balalaika Society presents “A Musical Journey Around the World,” featuring classical, folk, jazz and Broadway pieces arranged for folk instruments. Our musicianship and piano teaching artist Dr. Radina Dosseva will be playing.
The program will transport you to Armenia, Hungary, Spain, and Brazil.
You’ll visit the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe via medleys of Jewish folksongs, several Eastern European and Greek folk dances, and American-style jazz!
