Programs on George Mason University’s Campus

Parking on the George Mason Fairfax Campus requires a parking pass and is not included in the cost of the program. Visitors or students parking on campus must pre-purchase a pass online. Parents dropping off students in the morning or picking up in the afternoon will receive instructions on where to park for free for drop off and pick up times only.

Parents (or any adults) who wish to stay on campus during program hours, or any students who will drive themselves, MUST either park in a deck or pre-purchase a general lot pass for Lot A or Lot K. Passes are purchased directly from George Mason’s Parking Services. Click the Purchase Parking button below.

Instructions for Purchasing a Daily or Weekly Parking Pass

Note:  Parking in General Lots on Saturday/Sunday is FREE, however Mason requires a virtual permit. Instructions below.

  • Click on the purchase link above and create or login to an account.
  • Select the permit you need to purchase, and carefully select the dates you require. PERMITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • You will be asked to provide vehicle information.
  • Parking Passes on campus are virtual. Your license plate will serve as your parking permit. Please ensure that your vehicle license plate is visible to the drive aisle to avoid ticketing.

Programs at the Academy Building

Parking is FREE for programs held at the Mason Community Arts Academy Building location, but you MUST stop in the Academy office and ask for a free pass to avoid getting ticketed by University police.
