Musical Showcase: Disney’s Frozen JR
Overview
Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, plus new songs written for the Broadway production. When faced with danger, princesses Anna and Elsa discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and a stunning musical score, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
Our showcase program gives student actors the opportunity to receive top-level training as they work in an ensemble with their peers towards a final performance. The rehearsal process allows students to work with professional directors, actors, and choreographers. This is an intensive program, and one that provides actors with pride of ownership as they develop skills as performers and develop confidence in their off-stage lives.
All students registered for this program will be cast in the show and will strengthen their acting, singing, and dancing skills throughout the process. The show includes roles for new and experienced performers. Solos, as well as ensemble singing opportunities, are available. More information and instructions will be emailed to registrants before the start of the program.
Students are expected to attend each rehearsal for the full time listed and attend all performances for their assigned cast.
