Biography
Violin and Viola Teaching Artist
Eugene Liu is a violinist originally from Houston, Texas. He has performed with the Fairfax and Annapolis Symphonies, and attended summer festivals including National Orchestral Institute and National Repertory Orchestra.
As an educator, Mr. Liu believes in the innate musical gift of each student. His pedagogy strives to encourage musical curiosity, develop effective practice habits, and recognize one’s growth and ability to improve beyond what is thought to be possible.
Mr. Liu holds a master of music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a bachelor of music from the University of Maryland, College Park.
