Hang Yin

Dr. Hang Yin is a classical guitarist and educator based in the United States. In recent years, he has performed to acclaim at major venues such as Legacy Hall, Spivey Hall, the Coca-Cola Center, and Auburn University. In 2021, he toured multiple cities across China with a well-received series of solo concerts. After moving to Washington, D.C., he performed at the 2024 Chinese New Year Gala hosted by the Chinese Embassy, joined the Washington International Young Artists Music Series, and was invited to perform at the Bulgarian Embassy Music Salon.

In education, Dr. Hang Yin began his teaching experience at Wuhan Optics Valley International Foreign Language School during his undergraduate years. While pursuing his doctorate at Shenandoah University on a full scholarship, he served as a teaching assistant, mentoring undergraduate students and contributing actively to academic outreach.

He earned his Bachelor of Music from Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2018 and his Master of Music from the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University in 2021. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts at Shenandoah University in 2024.
