Hyebin (Jane) Kim is an established violinist and instructor. She continues to be an artistic force on the violin through her work as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, and educator. 

As a student at Manhattan School of Music, she received MSM scholarships and was on the Dean’s list during her entire tenure. She has received stellar achievements as a soloist and chamber musician, and won many challenging competitions such as the Guri Philharmonic Competition, the Sahmyook University Competition, the Kookmin University Competition, and the Music Association of Korea Competition. Additionally, she has performed in many prominent music venues such as the Lincon Center, Carnegie Hall, Florence Hall, the Albuquerque Museum, Riverside Church, the Dimenna Center, the Dumbo Dance Festival, the Seoul Art Center, and many more. violin lssons

Ms. Kim has completed numerous masterclasses with top musicians such as Robert Mann, Kurt Sassmanshaus, Lewis Kaplan, Olga Kalor, and Kazuhide Isomura. She has been decorated with top awards as a chamber musician from Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition, and has performed chamber music with the American String Quartet, Samuel Rhode, Curtis Macomber and Kenneth Cooper. violin teacher

Harboring a love for the orchestral repertoire, Ms. Kim has served as the principal of MSM Orchestra, MSM Opera production, in which she has completed recordings with Albany Records and the Universal Ballet for the Premier of “The Love of Chunhyang.” She has participated in Manhattan Summer Chamber Music Festival, New Mexico International Music Festival, Great Mountain Music International Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Sarasota International Music Festival, and Summit International Music Festival.

As a promising violin instructor, Ms. Kim has been an assistant faculty in the Korean Chamber Ensemble Music Festival. She hosts Violin Studio Class every year in Korea with advanced students, and holds a private studio in the United States, occasionally hosting master classes and chamber group coaching.

Developing a clear promise for performance from a young age, Ms. Kim pursued her studies at Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Laurie Carney, a violinist of the American String Quartet. She has received both her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Manhattan School of Music.
