Violin Jr. Instructor

Suyuan Carrasco is a native of New York City and works as a hired violinist in George Mason University’s Concert Orchestra. As a student at Mason’s Dewberry School of Music, she has been honored with numerous awards, including the Monson Scholarship, the Aitel Scholarship, the Oscar Grant, and many other gracious opportunities. 

Ms. Carrasco is currently an undergraduate student at George Mason University, studying with Professor June Huang, Director of Strings at the Dewberry School of Music. 

Ms. Carrasco believes music is a language that allows everyone, regardless of their background, to communicate and share with each other. She loves teaching and working with children and looks forward to sharing her love for music with her students.
