JumpstART 2D Advanced Summer Studio

Overview

JumpstART 2D Advanced Summer Studio is an intensive week-long summer art camp designed to guide students toward college preparation, but is open to all high school students regardless of college intentions. Taking place in the George Mason University’s School of Art’s Printmaking Studio and taught by the Director of the Master of Arts in Education program, the 2D course projects will focus on printmaking processes such as drypoint, reduction relief prints and monotype. The week includes a visit to the University special collections and culminates with a series of works that can be included in a portfolio.
