For Orff/Kodaly Teacher Training Programs

Choose to stay in convenient apartment style accommodations during the Orff and Kodaly teacher training Supplemental and/or Levels weeks.

Students will be assigned to an apartment with up to 2 additional roommates. All students will have a private bedroom and shared living room, bathroom, and kitchen in the apartment. Linens (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels), toilet paper, and internet access are included.

Students will receive more information about their stay in a Welcome Letter from MCAA and Mason Summer Housing closer to program start date.

Please keep in mind that these dormitories are utilized by undergraduate students and that normal wear and tear as well as a dormitory environment should be expected.

Students will be required to follow all Mason housing procedures and protocols during their stay on campus.

During registration, check the box for the length of stay you need to reserve and pay for your room for the proper time.

Housing Registration Deadline: May 15, 2024

Note: Housing must be reserved and paid for by May 15, 2024, to ensure a reservation. No refunds will be given after this date unless your program is cancelled. After May 15, please email the Academy at academy@gmu.edu for availability.

Housing Cost

1 week = $455     (July 8-12; for those taking a Supplemental Course)
2 weeks = $1,052    (July 15-26; for those taking a Level Course)
3 weeks = $1,649    (July 8-26; for those taking a Supplemental AND a Level Course)

Check-In is on Sunday afternoon prior to the start of the program from 3:00 – 6:00 pm and Check-Out is on the final Friday morning before class.

Please note that any “inclusive weekends” are included in the price, whether you choose to stay or not. A storage room will be available for your belongings at checkout on the final Friday morning until class is over on, at which time you can collect them.

Parking in the Mason lots and garages requires a parking pass – available for purchase online. More information about parking will be provided in program welcome letters.

  • Parking: Parking your vehicle on the Mason campus requires a parking pass. You do not need a pass if you are doing load-out/load-in.  Passes are available for purchase online. See Instructions Here
  • IMPORTANT: No refunds for housing will be available after June 1, 2024. We understand that this is an early deadline, please prepare accordingly!
