Building A Character

Students will be learning the basics of acting with a focus on character development. Through theater exercises and games, students will learn to use their bodies and voices to create different characters throughout the day. Note: Students should bring a nut-free snack and lunch and water bottle. Food is not provided.

Play-In-A-Day

Students will work together to develop a story based around the plot and characters that they create throughout the day. Students will learn the structure of building a script and how their characters work together to tell an exciting tale. Note: Students should bring a nut-free snack and lunch and water bottle. Food is not provided.

Musical Theater: Disney Classics

Love to Sing and Dance? Students will be focusing on learning music and choreography to our favorite Disney classics. Students will be singing and dancing throughout the day, and should come wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Note: Students should bring a nut-free snack and lunch and water bottle. Food is not provided.

Musical Theater: Acting Through Song

Students will be working on a selection of musical numbers from Broadway and beyond. Students will learn how to act throughout their songs using acting, choreography, and musical theater techniques. Note: Students should bring a nut-free snack and lunch and water bottle. Food is not provided.

Improv

Students will build confidence in performance and how to create comedy live on stage! This workshop focuses on the importance of improvisation and the rules that go into acting without a script. And of course, students will learn through lots of fun games! Note: Students should bring a nut-free snack and lunch and water bottle. Food is not provided.
