Clarinet Jr. Instructor
Teddy Dunn is a clarinetist and music educator from Vienna, Virginia, and is currently pursung a bachelor’s degree in Music Education at George Mason University. He has studied clarinet with Catina Sweedy, Dr. Anastasia Christofakis, and Kristen Sheridan. Currently, he studies clarinet with Dr. Kathleen Mulcahy. Throughout his time playing music, he has grown a passion for not only the clarinet, but also acoustics, music theory, and just about anything related to music.
At George Mason University, Teddy has performed in many ensembles, both large and small. He’s played clarinet in several chamber ensembles, including the Mason Clarinet Choir and other wind chamber groups. Teddy is the current principal clarinetist of the Mason Symphony Orchestra and Mason Wind Symphony, with which he played as a featured soloist in the Spring of 2023. He is the current secretary of Mason’s collegiate chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
