Spend FCPS Spring Break “On Stage”

At Acting for Young People and Potomac Arts Academy, we love when the time comes for Fairfax County Public Schools’ Spring Break each year, and this year is no different as we embark upon our third annual “Spring Break On Stage” camp, March 21-25!

This program gives new and returning students a great chance to work with our faculty and staff, and build acting skills in a relaxed environment. Available as a daily or weekly program, each day has its own theme. The first day is an exploration of basic acting fundamentals, and the rest of the week includes activities such as Musical Theater, Playwriting, Radio Play/Voice Acting, and Improv & Comedy.

Mary LechterMary Lechter, the Artistic Director of AFYP and Associate Director of Potomac Arts Academy says “Spring Break Onstage is the perfect opportunity to work with our faculty on some very specialized skills. It’s a joy to see a different group of students each morning, and watch them create something to share with their parents in a single day.”
