Join the exciting world of filmmaking with faculty, equipment, and technology from the George Mason University’s Film and Video Studies program. Focus on both artistry and skill-building with the creation, production, and post-production of your own film, write a movie script, make a documentary, and more! Programs offered for kids and teens during different weeks in the summer.
Mason Community Arts Academy is the community arts education division of George Mason University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts in Fairfax, Virginia. The Academy brings enriching arts instruction to the community through inspiring and innovative lessons, classes and summer programs in music, theater, visual arts, and film and video, which are open to all ages and levels.

Due to high demand and waitlists, our Summer programs require full commitment to the scheduled camp dates and times. If you are unable to attend the camp as listed, we ask that you please explore another camp week that allows you to do so.
