Due to the inclement weather closing of both Fairfax County Public Schools and George Mason University, the Academy is CANCELING ALL ACTIVITIES for Monday, January 25 and Tuesday, January 26. The following are affected:

  • MONDAY Private Music Lessons – Students are eligible for a make-up, please contact your instructor for more information.
  • TUESDAY Private Music Lessons – Students are eligible for a make-up, please contact your instructor for more information.

Private Music Lessons have rolling enrollment, as space and instructor schedule permits. To ensure a space and time most convenient for your schedule, it is best to sign up early in the semester!

Summer Arts at Mason 2016

With programs starting from age 4 all the way to 18,  Summer Arts at Mason is sure to have something for your whole family. Fill your summer with acting, music, computer game design, visual art, filmmaking, and more!

Our summer programs begin at the end of June and continue through mid August, with multiple programs running each week. Camps are generally one to two week, full day programs (with some exceptions). Certain programs also have a residential/ overnight option. The majority of our summer programs take place at the George Mason University Fairfax Campus and Potomac Arts Academy Fairfax locations.

Due to the impending winter weather storm, the closing of Fairfax County Public Schools and the probable closing of George Mason University, the Academy has decided to CANCEL ALL ACTIVITIES for Friday, January 22 and Saturday, January 23. The following are affected:

  • FRIDAY Private Music Lessons – Students are eligible for a make-up, please contact your instructor for more information.
  • FRIDAY Faculty String Quartet Concert at Fairfax Presbyterian Church – postponed to a new date TBA.
  • SATURDAY Private Music Lessons – Students are eligible for a make-up, please contact your instructor for more information.
  • SATURDAY Violin Adventures Classes – First class postponed until next week, January 30th.
